The past few months have given me new insight into how art and nature photography have the power to heal. Recently, I proudly participated in the Night Vibes trend on Werk aan de Muur, where I submitted two of my works: a photo from my "Stardust" series and another from "The Journey." It was a special experience to see my creations selected for this beautiful collection of 120 artworks, and I feel honored that my work is included. This motivates me even more to share my voice and explore the impact of art on the lives of others.
During a recent vacation in Canada, I realized that I want to reach and inspire even more people with my photographic art. My goal is to offer strength, warmth, and hope to those in need, especially during difficult times. Over the past months, I have sold cards to funeral directors and bookstores, and each sale gives me a chance to touch someone and provide support where it is needed. But I want to go further. I want my work to reach a broader audience and for people around the world to enjoy the beauty and comfort my photos provide.
That’s why I’m busy filling my shop on Society6 and refining my offerings on Werk aan de Muur. Thanks to the inspiring course by Raisa Zwart on Print on Demand, I have gained the tools and knowledge to present and sell my work professionally. The thought that my photos could be found in various places around the world excites and fills me with hope. In the coming months, I will add new work and dive into my archives, searching for images from my travels that are particularly suitable for the healthcare sector.
One of the most meaningful moments in my creative journey was when I submitted a photo for the Touch of Blue collection in memory of my mother. On her memorial day, I captured an image that seemed to form a blue teddy bear, a picture that symbolizes comfort and connection for me. The idea that this photo is now part of a special collection deeply touches me.
My mission is clear: through nature photography and art, I want to support people in their emotional journeys, especially during times of loss and grief. Art has the unique power to connect us, to comfort us, and to encourage us to embrace the beauty of life again, even after difficult moments.
I warmly invite you to explore my work and discover how art can contribute to healing and connection. Together, we can create a world where art serves as a source of support and inspiration.
