This macro photography workshop in the area of Oslo focuses on capturing the vibrant colors and intricate details of fascinating plants and flowers.

During this workshop, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore the world of creative macro photography. You’ll receive personalized feedback on your work, along with practical tips to help you make immediate improvements and capture stunning details. - Discover the Exposure Triangle
Learn the secrets of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, and how to combine them for the perfect shot. - Backgrounds and Composition

I will guide you through my own creative process and show you how I bring my photos to life.

- Technical Depth
While I’ll cover the essential technical aspects of photography, this workshop won’t dive deep into specific camera brands or complex theories.
What You’ll Gain
- A Unique Experience
Join a small group of like-minded individuals (maximum 4 people) for an inspiring and informative morning.
Photography gear you need to bring
- Macro Accessories: Include items like extension tubes, close-up filters, diffusers, reflectors, and small flashlights.
- Camera: A compact camera or mirrorless camera will work well.
- Memory Cards: Bring plenty of spare memory cards.
- Fully Charged Batteries: Ensure you have fully charged batteries.
- Tripod: While not mandatory, a tripod can be helpful; however, it might sometimes hinder your composition.
- Camera Protection: Bring a plastic bag or cover to protect your camera in case of rain.
- Camera Manual: Having your camera’s manual on hand can help with setting adjustments.
- Clothing: Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Sitting Pad: Consider bringing something to sit on, like a trash bag.
Workshop Details
- I believe in providing personalized guidance, which is why this workshop is limited to a maximum of 4 participants. It is designed for beginner nature photographers who are eager to enhance their macro photography skills.
- About a week before the workshop, you will receive additional information to help you prepare.
- The workshop will start at 10:00 AM with a coffee/tea (at your own expense) and a practical presentation. After the presentation, we will head out to photograph, during which I will be available to answer questions, offer tips, and review your results. We will break for lunch around 2:00 PM (lunchtime), during which we will also discuss the photos taken. The program will conclude by 3:00 PM.
